Messenger: pdigre has joined the conference.Yahoo! Messenger: prvdam has joined the conference.prvdam: Hi guys!pdigre: hiffwguy: Hi guys, no one else started it so I thought I would ffwguy: Who's facilitating? prvdam: Per...pdigre: Is there enough people for making decisionspdigre: I have not preparedffwguy: Peter has Brian's proxy. I have Steve it he doesn't show pdigre: I guess I have david'sffwguy: David did not send a message pdigre: Agenda ?ffwguy: I suggested in the email at least - where is the incorporation at and license changes ffwguy: Some folks have already given emails on the license prvdam: I think we already agreed on the licence changes by email.ffwguy: Not all of us Peter, I think we stand at 3 votes yes.prvdam: So with all the proxies now... I vote yeah for me and Brian.pdigre: I didn't vote so if I add mine we should be fineffwguy: Correct, that leaves only Julian and David not voting, it's a go. I'm going to send out a message to the FFW list announcing the change. pdigre: The suggested agenda: There is the license. Incorporation update.Dave's proposal, clean up of the site.
ffwguy: Yep. pdigre: Do we have anything on the Incorporation ?ffwguy: Last David said he was waiting on the address change. I thought we wanted to go ahead anyway, but David waited. My thought on not waiting was Barceolna, so I don't think it matters now. We need David for more info.pdigre: What needs cleaning up on the web-site ?prvdam: Steve has a wish list.prvdam: Was he not supposed to ask our volunteer to handle it?pdigre: I guess we better wait for Steve's input on that ??ffwguy: I think you had a lot of input on that Peter. For one I think a quick one is to combine and straigthen out all of that "Who we are"/Mission Statement/Article stuff into one page. We wanted a menu list that grouped some pages too.prvdam: yes but let's not go over all that again since steve has it all.pdigre: Is there any other items you want to bring to attention ?ffwguy: Per - Steve seems busy he's got a ton of things to do on the coding committee. I think someone else should pick that up in the mean time.ffwguy: I think David's proposal is an easy one - we should send that to the Coding committee. prvdam: Geoff: That's why we decided to hand it all over to the volunteer isn't it?ffwguy: Peter - I don't think Steve has given him any instructions or asked him to look it over. I'm talking about interfacing from the board to the volunteer, not the actual volunteer's work.prvdam: There is something I don't understand from David's proposal. Why does he propose this? Is this gonna be part of FFW?prvdam: Geoff - I can talk to the volunteer if you like.ffwguy: Peter - Good, as long as you have the time then let's do that.pdigre: Is he available to join a conference ?prvdam: That is a good idea Perffwguy: Why notpdigre: Should we invite him next Wednesday?pdigre: That gives a little time thinking about what to discuss..ffwguy: Let Peter get the ball rolling, and let Peter decide whether we have enough to talk to him during the meeting.prvdam: OKpdigre: I'm pretty sure that he has some questions..pdigre: I vote for bringing him on next Wednesday..prvdam: I will try to compile a comprehensive list - will ask Steve to send me whatever he collected - and then decide what to do.ffwguy: Peter - AFAIK the list is the one you put out in email to the private FFW list. Steve cc'd me on the email to the volunteer.prvdam: OK I will look into it. Move on.ffwguy: Peter - yes David is specifically asking to make this a FFW projectprvdam: Being on the coding committee I am in favor of first stabalising a FFW version. With that I mean we have a version only if their is proper docu with it. That is what we decided to do first and it will be a lot of work...ffwguy: True. Can I suggest that I'm not sure whether the project makes sense or not, and that's in the coding committee's hands. Perhaps it makes sense to put his project and prelim code in the review queue but let it sit in the queue until other things get taken care of. David's got a bunch of XML code that at a minimum might make some good code libraries.prvdam: Sounds reasonable. Will take it to the CSC.ffwguy: That appears to be the agenda - we should try to get news from David through the private email list.prvdam: OK let's have an early break for a change.ffwguy: Adjournpdigre: I have no more.. Adjourn..prvdam: Byepdigre: byeYahoo! Messenger: prvdam has left the conference.ffwguy: I guess I'll do the notes pdigre: Thanks, Geoff |
